Since joining BMJ she has delivered a range of major transformation products: replacing legacy systems with cloud based applications, transforming the development function focusing on agile delivery, continuous integration and DevOps within the organisation, leading the internal cultural changes required to drive a focus on the impact of digital on our business and the focus on customers and user centred design.
She is responsible for all technology systems that deliver and support the BMJ portfolio of around 100 digital products, as well as the internal business systems and more traditional IT provision for staff working in BMJ across the globe. H
er background is in publishing and online delivery having worked on a number of leading digital products for Oxford University Press, Which?, Informa and Reed Elsevier. She was recently nominated one of the top 100 CIOs 2015 by CIO Magazine, and her team have been shortlisted for “Best Internal Agile Development Team” at the Agile Awards in November 2015.
