DWF has a very entrepreneurial leadership which recognises, uses and promotes technology as a differentiator. After four mergers and one acquisition in 14 months, DWF now has 2,300 employees across the UK and internally, providing a full range of legal services. With a £200m turnover and annual IT spend of £12m, the IT team supports operates at 91 staff with a heavy focus on innovation, particularly around attraction and retention technology.
The CTO role has expanded beyond IT to include a number of other operational subjects, including: operational change (6 sigma+), facilities and knowledge services. Recognised as a change agent with an entrepreneurial edge and lots of ‘can do’, the CTO combines a holistic, creative and pragmatic approach to finding solutions. The CTO understands the necessity and power of relationships and the responsibility all seniors have for raising brand profile & developing a personal brand.
